Bilbao Exhibition Centre

SSL designed a fully de-mountable aluminium seating system for the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. This emblematic project in the Basque region provides state-of-the-art exhibition centre facilities, situated accessibly in Bilbao, close to the Guggenheim Exhibition.

With six large halls, the Bilbao Exhibition Centre recognised the need for flexibility, and briefed Biansa (SSL's Spanish agent) and SSL to design an adaptable, closed-rise seating system, which can be erected in numerous configurations and installed in any of the halls.

Approximately 13,000 seats with four splay corners provide a complete arena layout, available in a dual 300mm and 350mm rise system, with 500mm seat centres. Numerous vomitory staircases with rear walkways to upper level balconies allow users to leave and enter quickly and efficiently.
